The
Process Designer Interface is an interface for creating and parameterizing Plant
Simulation models with Process Designer data. The Process Designer Interface can
also be employed to update data in existing
Plant Simulation models without existing modeling being lost. This allows
working in parallel within the Process Designer
and the Plant Simulation environment using
their specific benefits without loosing time through sequential processes. This
drastically reduces development times and allows to support the quality of the
planning processes early on.
In addition to model creation, the
Process Designer Interface offers user pre-defined model analyses. These are
integrated into the model and show the utilization of the individual resources
in a dynamic chart during the simulation run, so that bottle necks and over
dimensioning of resources can be detected immediately. Worker utilization is
also shown. Important key figures, such as throughput quantity and average
throughput time are displayed numerically. ng
